Hunger Is No Joke fundraiser with White Ford Bronco

Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC)’s Young Professionals are hosting their 4th annual Hunger is No Joke event this Friday, April 4 in Rosslyn. All proceeds of this party held at Cafe Asia’s Party Loft benefit AFAC's mission of obtaining and distributing groceries, directly and free of charge, to people living in Arlington who cannot afford to purchase enough food to meet their basic needs.

The night starts at 8pm followed by live music at 9pm by local 90s cover band White Ford Bronco, one of my favorite high-energy cover bands in the area. The night also includes many prize raffles, including those donated from the Washington Capitals, the Washington Nationals, D.C. United, Flight Trampoline Park, Bikram Yoga Arlington, Passionately Pets and Commonwealth Joe. Tickets purchased in advance are $30 for single tickets and $55 for a pair of tickets.

Hunger is No Joke fundraiser at Cafe Asia April 5

The Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC) Young Professionals is throwing their 3rd Annual "Hunger is No Joke" event, with all the proceeds benefiting the AFAC. Hunger is No Joke 2013 will feature live music from Over the Line, two free drinks with each ticket purchase, and complimentary appetizerse from 8 to 10pm. It also features a silent auction, as well as raffles for cash and prizes.

The event takes place on Friday, April 5th from 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. in Cafe Asia's Party Loft (located behind Cafe Asia in Rosslyn). Tickets purchased in advance are $25 for single tickets and $45 for a pair of tickets.
