Clarendon's Irish pub O'Sullivan's is continuing their weekly standup comedy series every Thursday with a Make Jokes, Not War! event to benefit Ukrainian refugees. The 7:30pm comedy show is $15 and 50% of all sales will go to help "mobilize resources and partners to assist those who are vulnerable and displaced." in Ukraine. Hosted by Jon Yeager, the night has three teams (DC, MD, VA) go head- to head- to head in a battle for local comedy supremacy. A special guest closes out the show while the hosts tabulate the votes.

Holidazed & Confused Holiday Live at Drafthouse
Although the holiday season is busy, you can still make time for festive comedy at the Arlington Cinema Drafthouse with multiple showings of the Holidazed and Confused live show. This must-see revue features original songs, brand new sketches and classic favorites made famous by Second City legends like Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert and Steve Carell. The comedy troop is playing in Arlington for six days with a full list of showtimes here. Usually tickets are $30, but you can get them for $18 at Goldstar now.

Seaton Smith @ Arlington Cinema Drafthouse
This week's show was made worthwhile by the always funny Seaton Smith. Seaton has performed at many local venues, including the DC Improv and RiRa.
Seaton has a great comedic style, and I was very impressed that he did not reuse any of his previous jokes from when I saw him last at RiRa three weeks ago.
I love his flip-flops routine, never gets old!

Benjamin Button @ Courthouse AMC

On a side note, I also just found that that Listrani's in Courthouse hosts Standup Comedy nights! They have free open mic nights hosted by All Stars Comedy on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Standup Comedy @ Arlington Cinema Drafthouse
The setting was very casual, with the comedians performing right in the grill area. With about 20 people in the crowd, it made for a cozy and light hearted show.
The food is decent, mostly typical American fare. I like the creative menu descriptions (with movie themes, so 'Deserts' were labeled 'Credits', etc).
