Clarendon Grill Charity Date Auction March 14

This Thursday March 14, the Arlington Young Democrats are having a charity date auction at Clarendon Grill. The auction raises money for Doorways for Women and Families, a local charity that "creates pathways out of domestic violence and homelessness toward safe and stable lives."

The event starts at 7pm and feautres over 30 young bachelors and bachelorettes at the date auction. You can RSVP for the auction on Facebook or Meetup, and you have to buy at least a $10 bid card online beforehand to participate of which half the proceeds are donated to Doorways. You can also bring some requested donated items to reieve two free raffle tickets.

 In case you can't make it to Ballston's A-Town Saturday night, there is another date auction fundraiser for MS that same night in Clarendon. Social DC Public Relations has partnered with Run MS (The National Multiple Sclerosis Society) to host a date auction at Mad Rose 6 to 9pm Sat Feb 9 that includes the Bachelorette/Bachelor Pad star Chris Bukowski and Miss District of Columbia Sarah Hillware. The event  will be DJed by DJ Clinton Mathews and great drink specials include $2 bottles, 1/2 off all drafts, $3 mixed drinks, $4 shots, $5 house wines. 10% of all bar sales will go to RunMS. Raffle tickets will be $5 each, and the prizes include:

Date Auction for MS at A-Town Saturday

A-Town Bar & Grill in Ballston is hosting a fun Date Auction for a great cause this Satuday Feb 9th. The auction will feature over 20 eligible men and women and will raise money for Multiple Sclerosis research. The event starts at noon and tickets are $10 at the door. If you can't attend, you can donate directly to the National MS Society here.

The Clarendon Grill is hosting a charity date auction tonight to benifit Doorways for Women and Families. Eleven years running, this event starts at 7pm and is thrown by the Arlington Young Democrats. Check out all the available men and women up for grabs here. Arrive early and win a chance at a $75 gift certificate to Fireworks Pizza in Courthouse.  In addition, if you come to the auction with an item donation for Doorways, you will receive two free raffle tickets.

Tonight drop by the Clarendon Grill tonight at 7pm to bid on "Arlington's sexiest bachelors and bachelorettes" at a date auction to benefit the Arlington Food Assistance Center. Sign yourself up to be auctioned off or participate in the bidding if you need a date!

This is the ninth year that the Arlington Young Democrats have organized this event. Suggested donation of $5 gets you a bid card and raffle ticket. Or bring a canned or non-perishable food item for donation to Arlington Food Assistance Center to receive a free raffle ticket.
