Clarendon Shamrock Crawl

The annual Clarendon St Patrick's day bar crawl is back this Saturday March 19! The Shamrock Crawl is sure to draw large crowds of party-goers decked out in green from 1 to 9pm. Tickets are $30 online, which gets you a refillable mug for us in drink specials at 10 local bars. Or you can just show up and join the party for free, as you don't need a ticket to attend these bars, just for the beer specials. Lines are sure to start early, so make sure to check out these venues for great people watching this weekend:

Whitlow's 20 Year Anniversary

Most arguably the best all around bar in Clarendon Whitlow's On Wilson is turning 20! On Friday March 4 they will have a beer release party from 7-9pm with Devils Backbone Brewery. Live music starts at 10pm with For The Win.

Then on Saturday March 5 Virginia Coalition (VACO) plays from 9 to 11pm with no cover charge and a DJ afterward. Virginia Coalition is a local band which played at Whitlow's weekly in the 1990s and 2000s. After touring nationally, VACO is returning to the familiar stage.

Arlington Saints Social at Courthaus Social

For fellow Marymount University alumni, the Arlington Saints Social is coming soon to Courthaus Social on March 3 from 6 to 8pm. That Thursday is Local Craft Brewery Tap Takeover at Courthaus Social, where you can enjoy four different styles of local brews. You can buy the $10 ticket for this networking event here which includes drink specials and hors d'ouevres.
