Blog to follow: DCsocialite
Next on the list of sites to highlight on my blogroll is DCsocialite. I've been long overdue in posting about Paul's blogging on his adventures in the city. Recently he visited our side of the river and wrote reviews about Circa and Crumbs in Clarendon.
DCsocialite has been around for over two years by my count, and hoping they continue to post restaurant and event reviews. Looking forward to more posts about Clarendon from them!

Lyon Hall staff party
Lyon Hall, Northside Social and Liberty Tavern were all closed tonight for a joint party for their staff at Lyon Hall. The restaurants, all sharing the same owners, were celebrating their first anniversay of Lyon Hall opening and the forth anniversary of Liberty Tavern in Clarendon.
The restaurant had drinks, Red Hook lobster truck, Bada Bing cheesestake truck, and games like bean bag toss for their super attractive employess. Sadly, as I found out the hard way, the food trucks were handing out free small plates to staff open and not to the public.
All three restaurants will be open again on Tuesday, April 26.

Blog to follow: Arlington Nightlife
I'm late on posting about this, but we are happy to have a great new blogger join the Arlington community: Arlington Nightlife. The blog and twitter feed is focused on the local evening attractions and events and is updated very frequently. Arlington Nightlife would pose some worrisome competition to me if Clarendon Nights wasn't non-for-profit.
It's great to watch such popular blogs like ARLNow and Clarendon Culture spring up over the past year or so and really contribute a lot to the local online community. Hoping Arlington Nightlife will also stick around and be just as successful. Welcome to the Arlington blogging scene!

Ireland's Four Courts in Courthouse closed tonight
Ireland's Four Courts in Courthouse, a popular local Irish bar with occasional live music, will me closed tonight. According to the sign on the door, there was a small fire in the kitchen. They should be re-opened in time for the weekend rush.
Do you think its a coincidence something was lit on fire on 4/20 day? Sorry, bad joke.
Thanks to Siouxsie212 for the heads up!

Whitlows Rooftop Deck opening party
Tonight Whitlows had their official opening their rooftop deck, Wilson On Whitlows. The perfect spring weather provided for a packed turnout, as many locals took advantage of the free pork sandwiches, wings, chips and salsa, and veggies and dip, and discounted drinks.
Washington Post's Going Out Guide was also there to promote the event and to offer up a raffle with music tickets and Whitlows gift cards. Along for the ride was also four Peep dioramas, which provided some small talk fodder.
Whitlow's rooftop should be a popular spot this summer, and should give Clarendon's other sunny decks like Ballroom, Arlington Rooftop Bar & Grill, and Eventide some competition
