Lupus fundraiser at Frontpage April 7

Support a great cause at the 2nd Annual Team Kickin it 4 Krista Happy Hour at Front Page on Thursday April 7, with all proceeds benefiting the Lupus Foundation. From 5-9pm if you get a $5 wristbands at the door you will have the following food and drink specials:

* $3 off appetizers
* 1/2 price burgers
* $4 shooter special
* $2.75 rail drinks
* $3 drafts
* $3.25 glasses of house wine
* $2 miller light bottles

There will also be a raffle which includes Washington Wizards tickets and gift cards to local restaurants, along with DJ Pat Premier providing tunes. Come by and help Krista meet her goal to raise $20,000 goal for Lupus research!

Lupus Happy Hour @ Front Page

Front Page in Ballston was crowded tonight as the happy hour fundraiser for Lupus had a great turnout.

Krista, pictured here with her roommates supporting her cause and selling $5 happy hour wrist bands, provided us with a good reason to seek shelter from the sudden winds inside the popular bar. The wrist bands got us half price draft beers, and allowed us to buy raffle tickets for a selection of prizes.

The event was also well attended by the local social media community, including Arlnow.com, Arlington Connection, and WashingtonParent. Great talking to you all!
