Onward Chariots and J Lima Foxtrot at Galaxy Hut

Brooklyn band Onward Chariots will appear at Galaxy Hut on Sunday, Sept 28.Their catchy beats have gotten positive reviews globally and have been compared to the Beach Boys, the Shits and Belle and Sebastian. Check out their hit video Save Me Maryann for a sample.

Also appearing on the cozy stage is J Lima Foxtrot and her full band opening at 9pm. Her vocals and indie-synth-pop on tracks like Flashbacks have me mesmerized. Cover is $5 for both acts.

Onward Chariots at Jammin Java Sunday

For this Mother's Day, check out Onward Chariots playing in Virginia this Sunday, May 12 at 1pm. They played at Galaxy Hut in Clarendon back in February, and now they are taking the stage at Jammin Java.  There might not be any mothers in attendance - but "Mama", a song from Onward Chariots' new album, This is My Confession, which has been streamed several thousand times online since its January release. Onward Chariots is playing Galaxy Hut this Sunday, Feb 10. The 9pm show will host a range of musical styles from indie pop to garage rock.
