The LA Bar and Grill is one of my favorite hidden-away, low-key bars in the area, just south of Clarendon off Columbia Pike. They also host live music, and on July 22 the band The Big Boy Little will be playing LA Bar and Grill's Friday Night Music Series.They are traditional blues band featuring The Big Boy (Bret Littlehales) on harmonica and vocals, Matt Kelley on guitar and vocals, Robby Leebrick on drums and Wolf Crescenze on bass. The band won the DC Blues Society's battle of the bands a couple of years ago and went on to compete in the Int'l Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN and made the finals.
