Caught the end of Honor By August's show at Iota and was very impressed with their performance. They had great energy on stage and a solid, worthwhile sound. So much so that I felt compelled to buy their CD afterward.The night was a pretty good deal, for a total of $26 you get a live show, their CD, and a beer.
Another reason I like Iota: If you stick around after the band's last song, you can usually hang out with the performers. I spoke to the guest chello player for a minute who seemed like a cool guy.
If Honor By August comes around again in the area I'd definitely would recommend them.
